Baby Care Services Policy

Purpose

Babysittinghub services are designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment for infants/babies while supporting their individual needs and routines by allowing mothers to benefit mothers.

1. Health and Safety

• Babies must be free from contagious illnesses when attending the service.
• Staff will follow appropriate hygiene, diapering, feeding, and safe-sleep practices.
• Babies will always be supervised by trained caregivers.
• To be validated by the guardians or parents, utilizing the services
• Emergency procedures will be followed if a baby becomes seriously ill or injured with no liability assumed

2. Feeding

• Parents/guardians must provide clear written instructions regarding feeding schedules, formula, breast milk, or solid foods.
• Bottles and food must be clearly labeled with the baby's name and preparation date.
• Caregivers will follow the parent's instructions unless doing so would create a safety concern.

3. Diapering and Personal Care

• Diapers will be checked regularly and changed as needed.
• Parents/guardians should provide sufficient diapers, wipes, creams, and spare clothing.
• Caregivers will maintain appropriate hygiene and privacy during diaper changes.

4. Safe Sleep

• Babies will be placed to sleep according to recognized safe-sleep practices.
• Each baby will have a clean, appropriate sleeping space.
• Caregivers will follow the baby's approved sleep routine while prioritizing safety.

5. Medication

• Medication will only be administered when permitted by applicable law and with appropriate written authorization from the parent/guardian and, when required, a healthcare professional.
• Medication must be provided in its original labeled container.

6. Communication with Parents/Guardians

Parents/guardians will be informed about significant changes in feeding, sleeping, diapering, behavior, or health. Any accident, injury, or unusual incident will be reported promptly.

7. Pickup and Authorized Persons

• Babies may only be released to a parent/guardian or an individual authorized in writing.
• Identification may be requested when necessary.

8. Emergency Situations

In an emergency, staff will take reasonable steps to protect the baby's health and safety and will contact emergency services and the parent/guardian as appropriate.

9. Confidentiality

Information concerning babies and their families will be kept confidential and shared only with authorized individuals or when required for safety or by law.

10. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate information about the baby's health, allergies, feeding requirements, medications, emergency contacts, and special care needs.

11. Appropriate supervisions is at the discretion of the parents and guardians.
