Babysittinghub is an online portal service, provided on a standalone, “as is” basis. The platform introduces independent parties to one another and maintains the record of those introductions. It is not a childcare provider, pet-care provider, employment agency, staffing agency, or licensed care facility.
Sitters and clients are independent parties. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of the platform. The platform does not supervise, direct, control, or attend any sit; does not set the terms between the parties; and does not train, certify, or license anyone.
Background screening is performed by a third-party consumer reporting agency. A screening result reflects records available to that agency at a point in time. It is not a prediction of future conduct and not a guarantee of any person’s suitability, honesty, or safety. Verification status on this platform means a check is on file — nothing more.
The platform assumes no liability for the acts or omissions of any user; for the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of any care provided; for injury, loss, or damage to any person, child, animal, or property arising from any arrangement made through the portal; or for any dispute between users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and its aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding twelve months.
You are responsible for your own due diligence: meet in person, check references, confirm insurance where relevant, and follow the law that applies to you. Nothing here is legal, tax, or insurance advice.
