No. Babysittinghub is a standalone online portal that introduces independent parties to each other. Sitters are not our employees. We do not supervise care, direct how a sit is performed, or guarantee any outcome. See the service terms for the full disclaimer.

You give written authorization, then a consumer reporting agency searches the national criminal index, the sex-offender registry in all 50 states and DC, county and federal court records, and your motor-vehicle record. A clear report verifies you automatically. A report with records goes to the platform host for an individualized assessment, and you are notified with a copy before any final adverse decision.

To search the right records and to tell you apart from someone with a similar name. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, sent to the screening provider, then deleted from our storage. Only the last four digits remain, so you can confirm which number was used. Every access is logged.

• Basic — free, 3 searches and 1 post, once.
• Plus — free, 50 searches and 10 posts a month.
• Premium — free, 75 searches and 20 posts a month.

Browsing the directory is always free, signed in or out — only a location or closest-babysitter search counts against the allowance. A search is charged against the place we resolve, so "Atlanta", "atlanta, ga" and "Atlanta,GA" are one charge, and a place that cannot be found is never charged at all.

On Plus or Premium: on your renewal date — the end of your own plan month, not the 1st of the calendar month. The month starts when you sign up or switch plans. Unused searches and posts do not roll over.

On Basic: they do not reset. The free searches and posts are granted once when you create the account. Subscribing and later cancelling does not bring them back.

In both cases, a place you have already been charged for in the current period costs nothing to look at again, so refreshing, going back, and bookmarks are free.

The account becomes read-only. You can still browse the directory, read your messages, reply to anyone you are already talking to, edit your profile, manage your bank details, and subscribe. What pauses is starting a new search, posting to Mama's help, claiming a request, applying to a job, and opening a new conversation. Choosing a plan turns all of it back on immediately.

The Ask Hub button in the corner answers questions about plans, meters, Mama's help, and finding a babysitter. When Grok is connected it can handle open-ended questions; otherwise the guide stays grounded in this platform's rules.

Open Your plan. Every card there says exactly what its button will do before you press it. Switching tiers is one click and starts a fresh plan month. Pausing billing is one click too — you keep the plan and its monthly allowance, and nothing further is charged. Your account does not lapse on a date: it continues until you start billing again or the platform host suspends or removes it. There is no phone call, no form, and no waiting period.

Enter a city on the directory. Results come back nearest first, with the distance shown. Only verified babysitters with a confirmed location appear.

Yes — pet sitting uses the same verified sitters, Mama's help, and booking record. Sitters choose whether they take children, pets, or both.

A live feed of care requests. A parent posts what they need; babysitters watching Mama's help see it at once and can claim it. Posting counts against your plan's post allowance — monthly on Plus and Premium, one-time on Basic. Searches and posts are separate meters, so looking for a babysitter never spends a post.

Subscriptions are billed to the account on file. Sitter payouts go to a linked bank account. Account and routing numbers are exchanged for a token and never stored — only the last four digits are kept.

Yes. The platform host may suspend or remove an account, for example after a failed background check or a safety report. You are notified with the reason, and you may respond through contact us.

Your account is isolated to you. Other members see only your public sitter listing — name, city, rate, experience, specialties, and reviews. Your identifiers, screening report, messages, bookings, and bank details are visible only to you and, where necessary, the platform host.
